Our History

AKL was established on 2012. Our goal from the beginning was to be a resource for parents who needed assistance with the development of their child. We offer services in multiple counties in Florida with our main offices located in Miami and Longwood.

AKL staff consists of highly skilled, pediatric experienced and licensed occupational, physical and speech/language therapists, assistants, and special educators, who are committed to the success and well-being of our clients. Every child is evaluated to identify their needs and an individualized therapy program developed specific to that child.

Our objective is to improve the development of motor, cognitive, sensory processing, communication and play skills of our clients. With that goal in mind, we are committed to continuously educate ourselves and incorporate the best of our knowledge to provide excellent care.

AKL therapists and staff work together in a team environment. We focus on communicating closely with the referring physician, specialists and family members to develop individualized therapy programs in order to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
